Iwona Stepien       

Iwona Stepien – Partner

Iwona graduated in English Literature/Linguistics from the University of Marie Curie, Lublin, Poland. She moved to London where she achieved a Masters in Communications at the University of Westminster. A talented linguist (she is fluent in three languages and learning Mandarin) her industry experience includes financial services (Investec), media (UPC), consumer (Molton Brown) and market research (Kudos Research).

       
Ben Taylor    

Ben Taylor – Managing Partner

After gaining a 1st class degree in maths from the University of Bristol, Ben worked as an investment banker with Deutsche Bank before co-founding Language Connect with Iwona in 2003.
       
     

Christina Stüttgen – Office Manager, Germany

Christina joined Language Connect in 2006 as a Project Manager. Following two promotions, in 2009 she moved to Munich, Germany to open Language Connect’s first overseas office. Christina is a true polyglot: she is a German native, fluent in English and Italian and she also has a good level of understanding of Dutch, Spanish, French, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish!

       
Rachel Hoy    

Rachel Hoy – Sales & Marketing Manager, Australia

Rachel first joined Language Connect in 2008 in the London office. Prior to Language Connect, Rachel worked in marketing for multi-nationals including Hilton Hotels and Lexus in Australia. At the beginning of 2010, Rachel returned to her home city of Melbourne to open a second international office for Language Connect.

Bruce Cadbury – Company Advisor

Bruce has had a distinguished career in the language services industry and brings a wealth of advice to the Language Connect management team. As the Chief Executive of Language Line, the UK's leading telephone interpreting service for 7 years he has first-hand experience of being a pioneer in the industry turning a former charity into a business and growing a team of 5 people to 150.
