LC Internship Programme

Language Connect provides internship opportunities for a new generation of linguists and Project Managers. Our internship programme has been created to provide a hands-on experience of the operations of the translation business. Training involves a wide range of tasks essential for anyone starting in the translation industry. It includes translation, proofreading, quality checking, using translation software, liaising with freelance linguists as well as some administrative duties.

What we offer
Our internships are offered in our London office on a full time basis (from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday) and for a minimum period of 3 months. Information and support for overseas interns is available on request. Permanent job opportunities exist for interns demonstrating passion for languages and fast learning abilities.

Who we are looking for
Suitable applicants will:

have or be studying for an undergraduate degree in a language or translation-related discipline
be fluent in at least one language other than English
have some experience of working in an office or administration context
