Macmillan Coffee Morning with international flavour

Last Friday, our London office hosted a coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, which involves thousands of fundraisers holding their own coffee mornings on the same day.

Our event, organised by Chiara, Elena, Karolina and Melissa of our translation team, had an international flavour with the cakes served being specialities of the organisers’ home countries. The cakes from Spain, Poland and Guadeloupe (a French-speaking Caribbean island) went down a storm selling out in just 15 minutes leaving some latecomers disappointed. In all, we raised £250 for Macmillan to contribute to its vital work supporting people living with cancer.

Did you participate in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning? If so, we’d love to hear about your event so get in touch with us via the comments section.
