Positioning: Optimising video content for mass reach in a short space of time
As one of the top three brands in the world, Coca Cola uses various multilingual online tactics to engage and captivate their wide target audience and to cultivate a strong, online brand presence.
For the London 2012 Olympics, Coca Cola required 17 different promotional videos be translated and localised into 20 languages to meet very specific deadlines.
High volume keyword research, localised meta Data and full language translation needed to be delivered for each of the 20 languages specified over the course of eight days.
By aligning internal resources quickly and efficiently, Language Connect was able to put together a skilled project team and implement a robust, streamlined process to maximise success rates.
Language Connect’s internal SEO team worked alongside in-country linguists (specialising in search marketing) to conduct the work. The assignment was co-ordinated by a dedicated project manager who monitored workflow, output, cost and time, and managed the client’s expectations.
Keyword research to locate high search volume equivalents of competitive English keywords was conducted, with due consideration given to local search engines and search patterns. This process was completed with set timings of two hours per language.
Selected keywords were verified by linguists to ensure accuracy and consistency with titles and meta descriptions.
